Emily Henning began working as an associate at Essays That Fit shortly after graduation from Brown University ‘19, with a double major in Literary Arts (with honors) and History. She grew up in Manhattan and Brooklyn, attended a highly selective public high school, and received numerous academic awards. Volunteering with the Brown University admissions office as an undergraduate jumpstarted Emily’s passion for admissions, and she has continuously pursued advising and mentorship opportunities since then. Through experiences as varied as advising first generation high school students on the college application process to leading university workshops about imposter syndrome, Emily has cultivated the skills to help students of all ages and academic levels. Her personalized approach and emphasis on “fit”, as well as her students’ acceptances to Ivies and top 20 schools, consistently earn positive word of mouth from satisfied parents and students.
